Magic Dragon Street Meet Nationals is a Month Away!

Our rescheduled annual Magic Dragon Street Meet Nationals is nearing! September 11-13th are the dates for our 32nd annual event and the Lake Area Chamber of Commerce couldn't be more excited as the date nears. About the Car Show:

The Magic Dragon Street Meet Nationals is a unique show for all makes, models, and years of cars, trucks and motorcycles. Located in Central Missouri, we bring 30+ years of show experience to the historic Bagnell Dam Strip at the Lake of the Ozarks. The strip is closed to normal traffic during show hours, so we only have show vehicles within the boundaries. This creates and absolutely electric atmosphere! Some say it's like being on the set of "American Graffiti".

Rules & Regulations for the 2020 Event:

  • Any changes made after registration confirmed must be re-approved! 
  • Your registration card MUST be visible on the driver side dash to enter the event area during the show. (If you do not have your registration card you will not be allowed to enter!)
  • Speed Limit within the show shall not exceed 5mph.
  • NO Burnouts/Peel Outs!
  • NO Personal Tents or Canopies permitted - due to safety factors.
  • NO Alcohol - Open Container Law will be enforced by the Lake Ozark Police Department.
  • NO Loud Stereos!
  • NO PERSONAL ATV’S/SIDE-BY-SIDES/GOLF CARTS OR OTHER UTILITY VEHICLES ARE PERMITTED!
  • NO ANGLE PARKING in center lane. Center lane parking is end to end within the parking spot as marked.
  • NO SAVING SPOTS - Parking is a first come, first serve basis. Those who save spots will be asked to leave the show.
  • One parking spot per Show Vehicle!
  • Car Show Parking in designated spots ONLY! - Which include center lane, and painted parking spots.
  • Absolutely NO PARKING in business entries, driveways, sidewalks, or any other unauthorized locations.
Failure to keep these rules may result in expulsion of the show and future shows! 

2020 Judging Criteria:

  • Exterior—Body, Paint, Graphics, Wheels, Tires and Chrome
  • Interior—All vehicle interior excluding trunk and engine
  • Engine & Compartment—Everything under the hood
  • Award Ceremony will take place on Sunday, May 3th at 1PM at the Ozark Live Stage.
  • One first place award will be presented to the highest score in each vehicle class.
  • One second place award will be presented to the second highest score in each class (contingent on at least 5 vehicles participating per class.)
  • The Best of Show award will be presented to the vehicle with the highest overall score.

Judging is done by a team of volunteers and is not considered concourse judging!

The Lake Area Chamber is thrilled to bring this fantastic annual event to the Lake of the Ozarks once again this year. This event is put on by a number of volunteers and the Lake Area Chamber could use your help!
