The Lake Area Chamber of Commerce is proud to present Missouri's legendary car show, the 32nd Annual Magic Dragon Street Meet Nationals. After the initial reschedule, the date has been set for September 11th-13th. We invite you to this amazing event located on the historic Bagnell Dam Strip. What is the first key component in a great car show? The sweet rides, of course! With over 30 years running, this one of a kind car show draws in the beautiful cars. In the past, the Magic Dragon Street Meet Nationals has boasted up to 1,000 participants from all over Missouri, as well as surrounding states to the Bagnell Dam Strip. A large variety of show vehicles come out every year & we're sure to have something that strikes a chord with your inner auto enthusiast!

2. Chat with Car Owners

During the event, the strip is closed to normal traffic, so only participants and spectators will be present. This leads to a thrilling experience as you and your family get to enjoy leisurely walking the historic strip, all while admiring these beautiful machines that have been crafted into pieces of art. The atmosphere is absolutely incredible! You may even strike up a conversation with one of the owners as they sit proudly next to their ride.

3. Chow Down on a Delicious Meal

The historic Bagnell Dam Strip is home to many diverse restaurants that will satisfy even the hungriest of customers and with a wide range of foods available, you're sure to find a delicious meal.
