JUST DODGE IT - Join Us For YPL's Dodgeball Tournament

Have you heard? The Lake Area Chamber's Young Professionals at the Lake are hosting a dodgeball tournament this weekend! If you haven't made plans to attend, mark your calendar now. This annual fundraiser is an exciting time for everyone involved. Whether you are participating or spectating, you are sure to be entertained during this fun dodgeball tournament! Come out for a morning of fun, entertainment, and a little friendly competition. To learn a little more about the YPL organization and this great event, take a look below.


All About YPL:

Member business owners or employees of your business that are aged 21-45 can join our Young Professionals at the Lake and take advantage of the professional development offered by the group. Connecting young professionals to foster community engagement, exchange ideas and support the Lake Area Chamber of Commerce’s mission and activities. The Young Professionals meet monthly and host a variety of events throughout the year! This organization is a great way to meet other young professionals in the area. It can be beneficial for you to network with like-minded individuals at the Lake of the Ozarks. Feel free to join YPL at one of the upcoming socials or meetings to see what the group is all about! We look forward to meeting you and learning more about your business.

Dodgeball Tournament:

Who: Young Professionals at the Lake (and anyone who wants to participate)
What: Dodgeball Tournament
When: February 3rd, 2018 from 9am - 2pm
Where: Osage Middle School
Why: To raise funds for Kids' Harbor Child Advocacy Center AND have a good time!

Come out to the School of the Osage Middle School for an entertaining morning on February 3rd. Even if you don't have a team playing, it's fun to cheer on your favorite team from the stands. An elimination style tournament gives each team a chance to advance to the next round. Once other teams have been eliminated, the final two teams battle it out on the court. This annual event is often a highlight of the year for many YPL members. It's a great way to bond with fellow members and get to know each other through a friendly match of dodgeball. Don't miss out on the action this Saturday!
