 March is here, the forecast is beginning to hold steady with highs in the fifties, sixties, and seventies, and the atmosphere is buzzing with the promise of springtime. As the our community prepares for spring, summer, and the influx of tourists the warm weather brings, it's time for business owners to start thinking about whether or not they will need to hire additional help to get them through the upcoming season. If you plan to recruit new members for your team, the Lake Area Chamber of Commerce has the perfect solution for you!


We're always looking for ways to further support our members and help them grow their businesses. This week, we're here to provide all the info one a spectacular upcoming opportunity for our members (and other businesses) in the Lake Area: the 2017 Community Job Fair.

This is event is FREE to everyone who wants to attend - employers and job-seekers alike!

Info For Employers

No matter what industry you're in, the Community Job Fair is a perfect opportunity to advertise the fact that you are hiring and to get your company in front of multiple applicants. Companies hiring full-time, part-time, and seasonal employees are invited to attend.

We will have private interview rooms available onsite, so you are welcome and encouraged to conduct interviews with promising applicants immediately.

If you have been contemplating a career shift or are simply looking for ways to bring in a little extra money this summer, the Community Job Fair presents an ideal opportunity to meet with multiple businesses who are looking for people just like you. Candidates of all ages, experience levels, and industries are encouraged to attend. 

Interview rooms are available on site, so we recommend that you dress professionally and are prepared to interview with companies who wish to get to know you. Don't forget to bring multiple copies of your updated resume with you!

 We are proud to support our local businesses by co-sponsoring the Lake of the Ozarks Community Job Fair, and we hope to see each and every one of you there! Job applicants do not need to pre-register for the event, but we ask that participating businesses submit their booth registration no later than April 13th. Space is limited, and booths will be assigned on a first-come, first-serve basis.
