Lake Area Chamber Honors Award Recipients at Annual Fall Celebration

Over 250 of the Lake’s elite business community gathered for the Lake Area Chamber of Commerce’s Annual Fall Dinner Celebration at the Lodge of Four Seasons.

As has become tradition of the Lake Area Chamber, five prestigious awards were given throughout the evening in the following categories:  Non-Profit of the Year, Small Business of the Year, Large Business of the Year, Distinguished Citizen, and new this year Young Professional of the Year.  Recipients of the awards were nominated by their peers during a month-long nomination process.    

The first award of the night was presented to the Non-Profit of the Year; the award went to Hope House of Miller County.  The second award of the evening was presented to the Small Business of the Year; TXR Architects & Constructors.  Large Business of the Year was presented to Central Bank of Lake of the Ozarks. Brian Gagnon was presented the award for Young Professional of the Year and last but certainly not least was the Distinguished Citizen of the Year award which was presented to Carolyn Davinroy. 

Also recognized were Lake Area Chamber Members celebrating a milestone anniversary, with members who have reached their 20 and 25 year anniversaries being honored with a short video during the event.  Those members include: Columbia College – Lake of the Ozarks, B&B Heating & Cooling, and Cross Creek RV Park. Other members celebrating their 20 and 25 year anniversaries with the Lake Area Chamber, who were not able to attend are: Four Seasons Realty, Osage National, Paul’s Supermarket, Riverview RV Park, DeClue & Dunstan, Dugan Paints, Fechtel Beverages, JB Hook’s, Janine’s Flowers, RP Lumber, and School of the Osage.  

Other awards presented that evening went to K.C. Cloke for Board Member of the Year, for her dedication to the Chamber and community; and Alan Sullivan was presented with the inaugural Lake Area Chamber of Commerce “President’s Award”, by outgoing Board President, Joe Roeger for his “we can get it done attitude”, devotion to the Chamber and community, and his exemplary character.  The Lake Area Chamber wishes to congratulate all award recipients and to thank all sponsors and guests who made the night possible.
