Attend Regular Networking Socials
We invite all Lake Area Chamber Members and Future Members to our Monthly Networking Socials. Since networking should be a vital part of your business marketing plan, you are encouraged participate, exchange business cards, and get to know other members at our socials. This is an ideal way to gain visibility for your business and share information about you and your business.
Be sure to follow us on Facebook or subscribe to our e-blasts to stay-up to date on details for each monthly social!
Socials are held on the 3rd Tuesday of every month (except August & October) from 5-7pm at various Lake Area Chamber Member locations. An average of 80-100 business professionals attend our socials each month! It's a fantastic way to grow your network and get to know fellow business owners and leaders in the area.
We understand networking socials can be a bit tricky during this pandemic. That's why we've created our wrist band system. At each Lake Area Chamber event, we're providing wrist bands that easily let others know your comfort level with being around people. Red means please keep your distance, yellow means you're okay speaking, and green means you're good with close conversation and even hugs! Be sure to sport the color you're comfortable with at our next event to easily let others know your preference.
Join a Committee
The Lake Area Chamber has over a dozen Committees that Chamber Members can participate in to get more involved in the community and with the Chamber.
Serve your community and promote your business by volunteering on a committee(s) for your Chamber. Committees carry out special events, focus on economic development, monitor legislative activity, and market new and existing businesses. Members who get involved in committees build credibility for their businesses and help make a real impact on the business climate at the Lake of the Ozarks.
Now that you know a few ways the Lake Area Chamber of Commerce can help you network & connect in the Lake of the Ozarks area, you're ready to join!
