Magic Dragon Street Meet Nationals is Coming Your Way

Have you heard? It's car show weekend at the Lake of the Ozarks! The Magic Dragon Street Meet Nationals is May 3rd & May 4th! Check out sweet rides this weekend at our annual Lake Area Chamber event. If you like cool cars, thrilling rides, or just hanging out in an enthusiastic atmosphere -- the Magic Dragon Car Show is for you! Check out the details of this unique car show at the Lake of the Ozarks.


All About Magic Dragon Street Meet Nationals:

The Magic Dragon Street Meet Nationals is a unique show for all makes, models, and years of cars, trucks, and motorcycles. With 1,000 participants and close to 10,000 spectators, this show is a must-attend annual event at the Lake. Located in Central Missouri, we bring many years of show experience to the historic Bagnell Dam Strip at the Lake of the Ozarks. The strip is closed to normal traffic during show hours, so we only have show vehicles within the boundaries. This creates an absolutely electric atmosphere! Some say it's like being on the set of "American Graffiti".

Judging Criteria for 2019


  • Exterior—Body, Paint, Graphics, Wheels, Tires and Chrome
  • Interior—All vehicle interior excluding trunk and engine
  • Engine & Compartment—Everything under the hood
  • Judging is done by a team of volunteers and is not considered concourse judging!
  • Award Ceremony will take place on Sunday, May 5th at 1PM at the Ozark Live Stage.
  • One first place award will be presented to the highest score in each vehicle class.
  • One second place award will be presented to the second highest score in each class
  • (contingent on at least 5 vehicles participating per class.)
  • The Best of Show award will be presented to the vehicle with the highest overall score.

If you're interested in getting involved, the car show looks for volunteers each year to help with planning and execution. Organizations who volunteer may be eligible to receive a portion of the proceeds from the event. Contact the Lake Area Chamber for more information!
