1. Shine a Spotlight on your Business with a Ribbon Cutting

Highlighting your business for other chamber members and non-members is a great way to draw attention to your venture. If you are new to the chamber, don't miss out on the opportunity to host a ribbon cutting for your business. With advertising on social media, bringing people into your place of business, and gaining exposure through a press-release, it's the ideal way to kick off your new membership!


2. Our E-blast Puts You in Everyone's Inbox!

An individual e-blast can be sent out to our subscribers (over 1,400) with business information or an upcoming special you may have. It''s an inexpensive way to get your business noticed and get your name out there!

We also provide our members a place to brag on themselves! Provide a 150 word document about you and/or your business and we'd be happy to include that in our Business Spotlight section of our monthly e-newsletter.

In addition to our Business Spotlight section, we provide the opportunity for business sponsorships on our monthly newsletter. It's the ideal way to get your business name in front of our subscriber base to easily draw attention to your brand.

3. Place Business Information in our Display Rack

Our Willmore Lodge visitor center is a hot attraction for many visiting from out of town and locals alike. When people are looking for information about the Lake of the Ozarks, they know to come visit us! We allow members to place brochures and other business information on our display rack for easy access to those seeking information. We have over 15,000 visitors to Willmore annually!

4. Attend Our Networking Socials

We host a monthly networking social at various member locations throughout the Lake of the Ozarks. These events are free to attend and include appetizers and typically a cash bar for your enjoyment. Get to know current and future members and help spread the word about your business at our next social. We look forward to giving you a great place for your business to thrive. Don't forget to bring plenty of business cards. At our last social in early November we had over 200 in attendance!


5. Host a Member 2 Member Knowledge to Know

If you are a Lake Area Chamber Member that would like to share pertinent information about your industry or services that could assist and educate our members we’d like to invite you to participate as a contributor to our new “Member 2 Member Knowledge to Know” series. The goal of this new series is not to be an advertisement for a particular company or member; it’s to give you an opportunity to share your knowledge with fellow members who are seeking your professional expertise. We would like to have a variety of industries participate as our membership is composed of many entities. Contributors have the opportunity to host a 1-Hour seminar or provide a write-up of their expertise for us to share with our members via electronic format. Let’s help one another grow!
